waiting after medicals

• i had got my medical done in june 2005 but since then its just a waiting game.we have applied under family sponsorship case.can anybody know the timings of getting visa after medicals

  there is no way to know. Hang in there. This is the process that nobody knows how long it takes but in a way, if everything is in order, you should be alright.
  
  I know that this is terrible for planning, but you will have 1 year to become a landed immigrant from the time your application is approved.

• why the long wait??

  Its beyond me that they take almost a year to read a medical report! The doctor sends the tests to the labs,which then sends it to the CIC.
  I cant understand why it takes so long to approve of the medical report.
  Does any one have any idea why the further delay??
