Fuel and gasoline prices in Canada

I am moving from Russia to Canada shortly and I am concerned about the news on oil prices. I do not think I will have the means to live in the city so I will have to commute, hence I will have to drive.
Where can I find information on gas prices and the best fuel efficient cars to drive in Canada?
