DUAL CITIZENSHIP

I have both British and Canadian citizenships, though I currently reside in Canada. For French residency requirements, would I be considered a citizen of an EU member state?

The EU parliament has some info on EU citizenship and that sort of case is clearly stated. However, depending on your age, some EU countries are getting iffy with dual citizenship individuals so there is a project in the oven to make dual citizens chose
