expatriate spouses visas (Canadian H-2)?
-

I want to know what are the rights that spouses of expatriates have in Canada. I do know by own experience that in the USA, spouses get a type of visa that does now allow them to work (usually an H-2 visa). Is that the case in Canada?

no Canadian H2
There is no such thing such a Canadian H2 Visa. Instead, your spouse, once in Canada, can apply for a full landed immigrant status and/or a work permit. The process for a job permit may take a few weeks but it is contingent on having a job offer. Put it simple, Canadian spouses of expatriates have a MUCH better time finding themselves than in the USA.
