Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA)
Maastricht School of Management (MsM) and Cologne Business School (CBS) offer a joint International Executive MBA program. Our EMBA program is designed to stimulate creative management thinking and to meet the needs of candidates lacking the theoretical underpinning and training required to apply management knowledge into practice.
The 2-year part-time Executive MBA consist of 9 modules in 7 days, each module followed by 3 months tutorial. The modules alternately take place in Cologne and Maastricht. One module takes place in Shanghai. The Executive MBA participants have different nationalities and come from very different organizations, industries and positions.
An executive MBA education is as strong as its participants. For the MsM/CBS Executive MBA five years of managerial working experience is a prerequisite to enroll in the program. That contributes strongly to the quality of the discussions. I was part of a very international MBA class: Italy, Brazil, China, Germany - the participants came from everywhere.
