Being an intern at Just Landed, you will have the chance to get an inside view of how small, young companies work and develop. We expect you to take on as much responsibilities as you can handle, to help you enjoy a full experience.

Internships at Just Landed take place at our headquarters in Madrid. Internships aren't based on a fixed programme, we prefer to develop programmes based on the applicant's interests, objectives and the duration of the internship. We will certify your internship and provide references.

Please note that we do not currently offer paid internship positions, but we can offer a generous commission split on sales for interns that generate income from their work.

Requirements for internships in Spain

To apply for an internship position at Just Landed, you must have the following skills:

• Excellent level of written English
• Excellent level of writing in your native language
• Ability to use Word, Excel, Outlook (or other email client)
• Understanding of how websites work (from a practical, not necessarily technical point of view)

Editorial/Online Marketing (Content)

Being an intern in the editorial team will not only help you to develop your researching, writing and editing skills. You will be responsible for the following tasks:

• advertising and PR activities (branding, creativity in logos and banners, responding to enquiries, press releases and client liaison),
• publishing online content and moderating forums and adverts,
• translating articles, guides and the site itself (for native speakers of different languages).

To be an editorial intern at Just Landed, you'll need to be independent, motivated, clever and pro-active. Taking initiative, juggling tasks, managing your time and being able to work under pressure are the best skills of our interns.

Product Development

The product development internship is aimed at majors in non-technical areas who have picked up some technology. Just

Landed product development interns will carry on tasks that range from functionality specification, bug tracking, release planning, review, test and development.

We expect our product development interns to have a good dose of the following skills:

• *NIX administration (FreeBSD a bonus)
• Ruby on Rails / PHP
• MySQL
• HTML, JavaScript, CSS et al.

If you are interested in being a product development intern at Just Landed, we'd like you to add to your apply a list of web projects you have worked on so far (if possible with live URLs) and a detailed description of your part in these projects.

Marketing and Sales

Marketing and sales interns at Just Landed get a full experience of the business development process, turning theory into practice. This is a pure sales position, where you'll get experience on direct marketing and sales.

Marketing and sales internships include:

• 
  Review and explication of the current marketing collateral, sales processes and approach.
• Coaching on how to target, prepare, execute and follow-up a direct marketing campaign.
• Launch of several targeted marketing campaigns into different sectors.
• Follow-up on generated leads.
• Direct customer contact (by phone), negotiation and closing.
• Implementation of closed campaigns for the customer, follow-up and reporting.

Our marketing and sales interns receive a generous commission basis based on deals closed. We cannot offer any guarantees, but we believe motivated and capable interns should be able to cover their living costs without any problems. In any case, we cannot accept to work with anyone who will be forced to rely on their own success to survive.
